Day 1 :

ARRIVAL TO KATHMANDU/ WELCOME TO NEPAL!

Your guide for the trip will pick you up from the hotel and take you and your luggage to your hotel. After you rest for a couple of hours, we will meet you at your hotel reception and brief you about the trip. Then you can pack your duffel bags and do any shopping if necessary. We will end the day with a delicious dinner, enjoying Nepali cultural music and dance.

Day 2 :

DRIVE FROM KATHMANDU TO KANYAM

Early in the morning, we will leave for Kanyam at 5 AM. The ride is long but a beautiful one with views of the Himalayas, hills, and many rivers along the way. It will be a comfortable ride in a tourist-standard four-wheeler. We will drive across many small and big towns, rivers, well-terraced farmlands, and green hills. As Pathibhara is quite far from Kathmandu, we will stop at Kanyam, which itself takes 10-12 hours to reach. There, we will spend the night after having a warm dinner at the hotel/homestay.

Day 3 :

EXPLORING KANYAM, FIKKAL AND DRIVE TO THULOBESI

On the third day, we will explore Kanyam and Fikkal. We can watch the sunrise from Kanyam View Point, and the sunrise from atop the tea gardens will be something else. After that, we can take photos at the tea gardens wearing traditional Nepali clothes. Then, we will go to Fikkal where you can buy many local things you can't get anywhere else, like Ilam tea, hard yak cheese, etc. After shopping and brunch, we will move towards Thulophedi, Taplejung, which will take 10-11 hours depending on the traffic. We will have our dinner when we reach our homestay and call it a day.

Day 4 :

HIKING FROM THULOBESI TO PATHIBHARA TEMPLE AND BACK

We will get up early in the morning around 4:30 AM. It will take us around 4 hours to reach the top. After hiking for an hour, we will reach Sanophedi where we will have our breakfast and rest for a while. From there, it will take another 3 hours to reach the temple. The hike is quite steep, and you will have to rest many times in between. But, you can rest at the many rest stops they have built along the way. When we reach the top, we can see the beautiful Himalayas, and if we are lucky, we can even witness snowfall. We will offer our prayers to Goddess Pathibhara, and after taking photos to our hearts' content, we will move downwards. We will have our lunch at Sanophedi, where we had our breakfast early in the morning. After 2 hours of hiking down, we will reach Thulophedi where we catch our jeep, which will take us down to Phugling. Once reaching Phugling, we will have our dinner and rest.

Day 5 :

DRIVE FROM PHUGLING TO BIRTAMOD

On the second last day, we will leave early in the morning to Birtamod, Jhapa, where you will catch the flight to Kathmandu. The journey will take us around 12 hours, and we will reach our destination probably in the evening.

Day 6 :

FLY TO YOUR DESTINATION

On the last day, after having your brunch, you will be dropped off at the airport by your guide.
